It has been decided to close Bjørndalen recycling station as of 1 January 2020, and direct notice of this has been sent to all owners of leisure and residential properties in the former Tustna municipality.

The reason for closure is that the existing plant is considered unjustifiable to continue operating with regard to both the environment, employees and customers.

The operation has therefore been suspended, for the time being and for the time being, pending the choice of site for a new recycling station in Aure Municipality.

As of 1 January 2020, Aure municipality has put aside all waste disposal and sludge services ReMidt IKS.
