What is ReMidt?

The environmental company ReMidt ​​IKS is an inter-municipal company with 17 owner municipalities in Trøndelag and Møre og Romsdal. The company provides services to the inhabitants related to household waste and sludge. Read more about who we are.

Where can we get bags for plastic packaging?

Can't find my property when I search for my address in the emptying calendar?

The search searches in real time against our customer database, and the hits are automatically filtered as you type. If the search window is empty, we will not find hits in the customer base of your search term.

The reason for this may be several, but the most common one is that you have typed the address differently from what we have registered. For example, the road and the road will be different search terms.

If you live in one condominium, try searching for the name of the condominium.

If you get hit on your way but can't find your house number, you can choose another house number that is near you. It is the same route that goes in the area, so you will get the right emptying calendar or notice anyway.

I live in one condominium and can't find my emptying calendar, what do I do?

Can I have a discharge calendar sent for the second half?

I do not find an empty calendar for the cottage / holiday home, even though it has street address.

Empty calendar is only available for domestic renovation. Return points and containers that are exposed to cabins and holiday homes are normally emptied every 14 days or every week, depending on whether it is high or low season.

Do I find cabin renovation in the emptying calendar search?

Cabin renovation has a different route structure than household renovation. The leisure properties are not included in the search for emptying calendar. I'm going to make a new can hide, how big am I going to make it?

You should set aside plenty of space. It may be relevant with up to four waste bins plus a plastic bag. This has not been decided yet. Read more about the different can sizes we offer in ReMidt ​​and find the dimensions of the containers.

 

How do I find my emptying calendar?

Enter your street address or your farm and farm number in the white field in the big green box. Then your address will appear with the name of the municipality (it happens that it is the same street name in several municipalities), click / select the correct box. Where can I get beach cleaning bags?

Bags for beach cleaning can be picked up at our recycling stations. After you have cleaned and delivered the waste, it is important to notify someone who works at the plant, so that we can register the quantities.

When are you going to collect food waste and how many cans should I build cans for?

The requirement from national authorities says that we must collect food waste by 2023, and we are working to be ready in all our municipalities well in advance of the requirement.
There are currently several factors that are unclear regarding the number of cans, but if you build for four cans, the cans will be large enough. All our customers receive information well in advance of receiving new cans.

Can I order a waste taxi?

Waste taxi is an offer that is currently available in nine municipalities: Aure, Surnadal, Rindal, Rennebu, Heim, Hitra, Frøya, Orkland and Skaun. I have applied for exemption from renovation and have not yet received an answer

When you apply for an exemption from renovation, you will receive a confirmation from our customer center when the application has been received. We usually have a three-week processing time, but due to high demand, a somewhat longer case processing time can be expected. The exemption will not apply until you have received a response to a decision in the case. This means that you have to continue to pay the renovation fee until you have received this from ReMidt.

Do I still have to pay a renovation fee after applying for an exemption?

If you have been granted an application for an exemption, you will not pay a renovation fee. If, on the other hand, you have applied for an exemption, and have not received a response to the application with a decision from ReMidt, you must continue to pay until you receive the application. If you are denied an application for an exemption, you still have to pay the fee.

Why have I been purring without receiving an invoice?

If you have only received e-mails from us, you probably have not discovered that you have received an original invoice. An invoice can be sent either by mail, as an e-invoice or as a contract direct. Here are possible reasons why you did not receive your original invoice based on the billing method you selected:

  • In the mail: If we have sent you an invoice in the mail, we reckon the person sent and received unless it comes back with us. If it comes back, we note this, check the address, and resubmit with a delayed payment deadline.
  •  As e-invoice: Invoice sent as e-invoice must be approved for it to be deducted. Check if you have an e-invoice lying in the bank that is not approved. If you have not, you may want to check if, for example, cohabitants have received the e-invoice (see separate section "Why has cohabitant received an invoice? I have always received this before")
  • As a contract giro: If you have a contract giro agreement with us, the amount will be deducted automatically on the due date. You should see this in your due date. Possible reasons why the amount has not been deducted may be, for example, that there was no account coverage at maturity, or that you have set an amount limit lower than the invoiced amount. (In the latter case, you should have received a notification from us).

Why do I get an invoice for leisure renovation?

Anyone who is registered as the owner of a leisure property is required to pay a renovation fee. This applies regardless of how much leisure property is used. Leisure renovation fees are imposed through your local waste disposal regulations.
There may be grounds for total exemption from the renovation fee if the holiday home is in decline or used as a warehouse. If so, you must send us an application, and the condition of the holiday home must be documented. Apply for exemption here

I have not been allowed to use the cabin as a result of the national cabin ban. Do I still have to pay?

Yes, the cabin ban that was introduced in connection with the corona pandemic does not provide grounds for exemption or reduced fees this year. However, ReMidt ​​operates IKS at its own cost, which means that you as a customer only pay for what the service costs to operate. If the self-cost accounts show that it is more reasonable to conduct leisure recreation a year, it will be leveled off in the following year.

Can the maturity of one invoice be postponed, since there is maturity on the same day in leisure and household?

I haven't said "Yes thanks to e-invoice", but still get it.

Prior to this year's first billing, a check was made against the banks register called "eF invoice - Yes thanks to everyone". What you do if you have thanked "yes thanks to everyone" is that you agree to receive invoice as eF invoice from all suppliers that offer eF invoice. Thus, an e-invoice agreement was automatically created for all who had set this setting.
We have learned that many people do not realize that they have "thanked them" and have thus signed up for this service without necessarily wanting it.
If you do not wish to receive an invoice via eF invoice, we therefore recommend that you go into your online bank and turn off the choice for this, or contact the bank if necessary.

Why am I getting more bills from you?

One reason why you have received more bills may be that you have more properties, for example housing on one property and cottage / holiday home on another property. It may also be that you have accommodation and cottage / holiday home on the same property, even then you will receive two separate bills.
Renovation for housing and cottage / holiday home are billed separately. Housing four times a year (January, April, July and October) - and cottage / holiday home twice a year (March and August).

Why do I get the same e-invoice, with the same amount, KID and invoice number, in two different banks?

An e-invoice agreement is linked to you as a person and not your bank, so it will be able to appear in all the online banks you are a customer of. If you pay the invoice in one, it will disappear from the other. If you experience problems with this, contact your bank.

Calculation of the amount for sludge emptying is not correct, why is the sum as high as the entire annual fee when the invoice is for the quarter?

Under the heading «Annual leave. per unit »is the unit price per m3. If your tank is 4m3, the unit price is multiplied by 4, then divided by the number of quarters in the sum.
Example: ($ 227,25 * 4m3 = $ 909. $ 909/4 quarter = $ 227,5).
The same goes for the bill for leisure renovation, but the unit price is multiplied by the number of m3 and then divided in two, since we bill leisure time only twice a year.

I have received claims in Vipps, but do not want to.

If you received an invoice from us in Vipps without your request, it is probably a setting in your Vipps app that is the cause. This can be disabled as follows: Open the Rocker app, select Profile, then "Bills and e-Invoices." Here you can remove options for receiving eF invoice in Vipps.

Why has cohabitant received an invoice? I've always received it before.

You may have a cohabitant / spouse who has previously paid an invoice in your name from their online bank. Then the e-Invoice agreement may have been linked to his / her spouse's name, if the partner / spouse has accepted "e-Invoice - yes thank you to everyone". This does not have to be an invoice from ReMidt ​​IKS. Our partner Nets runs a check against the banks eF invoice register when an invoice from us is sent out.

The residence is not in use / holiday home is not in use. Do I have to pay a fee?

If the home is not in use, you can send a written application to get a reduced subscription for leisure renovation. You can do this here.
If your holiday home is not in use, you must still pay at least one leisure subscription according to our regulations. See our regulations. There may be grounds for total exemption from the renovation fee if the dwelling / holiday home is in decline or used as storage. If so, you must send us an application, and the condition of the home / holiday home must be documented. Submit application here.

Can I have an invoice emailed?

Unfortunately, we do not have a fixed invoice delivery system per. email today. You can choose between receiving an invoice per. mail, such as eF invoice, contract giro or EMF (for companies).

How often do you send an invoice?

For households / homes, we bill four times a year:

  1. deadline: 01.01. - 31.03. Invoice arrives in January and is due 20.02.
  2. deadline: 01.04. - 30.06. Invoice arrives during April and is due 20.05.
  3. deadline: 01.07. - 30.09. Invoice arrives in July and is due 20.08.
  4. deadline: 01.10. - 31.12. Invoice arrives during October and is due 20.11.

For cabins / holiday homes we bill twice a year:

  1. deadline: 01.01. - 30.06. Invoice arrives during March and is due 20.04.
  2. deadline: 01.07. - 31.12. Invoice arrives during August and is due 20.09.

Sludge Removal

Why is my septic tank still full right after you empty?

A sludge tank is just as full when we finish the job as when we arrived. There is a so-called "local dewatering". That is, we take the solid with us and return the "water" to the tank.

Empty tank is completely emptied.

 

What are the timber routines for wastewater treatment plants?

There are many different types of treatment plants. They have different emptying procedures. Instructions should be available at the facility.

What is a sludge separator?

Those who are not connected to a municipal sewage network have some form of sludge separator (also called septic tank). This must be emptied at regular intervals for the drainage system to function.

I want to apply for exemption from sludge, what do I do?

To apply for sludge clearance, you must contact your municipality. This depends on your discharge permit, and the municipality must consider this as they still have pollution control authority.

Can I change how often my plant is emptied?

Yes, you can, but then you have to contact your municipality to change your emission agreement.

I have changed the sludge plant on my property, who should I notify?
