Neighborhood sharing for greater cooperation in housing associations and co-owners

For housing associations and larger collaborations, we can offer two different waste systems as a replacement for cans and traditional containers: bottom-emptied and buried waste solutions.

Both of these solutions have the same source sorting as when using plastic cans: food waste, residual waste, cardboard / paper, plastic packaging and glass / metal packaging.

Common to these two schemes are:

  • The housing association / collaboration is responsible for cleaning / maintenance of the area around the containers
  • The housing association / collaboration is responsible for plowing and spreading in the area
  • Cars and other equipment must be at least one meter away from containers
  • The equipment should be placed where the residents naturally pass by
  • Reduces fire hazard
  • Containers should not be placed in such a way that they obstruct traffic and traffic
  • Households that participate in the scheme must deliver all their waste to emptied containers
  • There is a reduction in the fee of 15% of a normal subscription for neighbor sharing
  • There will be one in addition to the fee for interior washing of containers

Bottom emptied containers

Bottom-emptied containers can replace cans and traditional containers where there are 10 or more housing units that want to share equipment. This solution is a cleaner and tidier solution than ordinary containers and cans. With a small opening, you avoid a lot of clutter and incorrect sorting, there is no risk of waste falling out - or the bins tipping over. Bottom-emptied containers are available in several sizes, from 1,7 to 4,2 cubic meters.

Important to know:
  • This solution is well suited where more than 10 housing units share equipment
  • Housing association / collaboration makes land available
  • Landowners must approve the placement of bottom-emptied containers

Buried waste solution

This means that the waste container itself is below ground level, in a buried foundation. As a general rule, the containers will be equipped with access control. All users get their own electronic key tag.

Buried waste containers have a number of advantages over having ordinary containers and / or cans standing.

  • Space saving
  • Nicer outdoor environment
  • Minor odor problems
  • Easier to use
  • No pests
  • Reduced fire hazard
  • Contributes to better sorting
Important to know:
  • Suitable for collaboration with 30 or more housing units that want to share waste equipment.
  • Housing association / cooperation makes land available and must clarify with the municipality for any building application.
  • Housing associations / co-operation must cost foundation work and concrete troughs
  • There is an addition to the fee for buried solution of 20%
