"Act on business transparency and work with basic human rights and decent working conditions", in short form called the "Openness Act". You can read more about the law here:  Act on business transparency and work with basic human rights and decent conditions

The law entered into force in Norway from 1 July 2022.

The purpose of the Openness Act:

The Act shall promote companies' respect for basic human rights and decent working conditions. It must ensure that the general public has access to information about how businesses handle real and potential negative consequences that can be linked to the business, either directly or through their supply chains and business partners.
