The best thing for the environment is that we avoid making waste. That is why we have re-use stalls at many of our recycling stations. In the re-use stalls, you can put away items that you do not need yourself, but which can be useful to others.

The requirement for items you leave in the reuse booth is that it must be complete, clean and well-functioning. It is not permitted to leave electrical items in the re-use stalls.

If you find something you want to take with you, you are free to do so. Everything in the rebuilding booth is free. In this way, we can avoid that much of what would otherwise become waste is given new life. Good for you, good for the environment.
