ReMidt IKS has applied to the State Administrator in Trøndelag for renewed permission to operate the recycling station at Fillan, Hitra. The application with attachments can be found here.

Background for the application
Storage space for waste requires a special permit according to the Pollution Act. In a permit, the State Administrator sets conditions that must safeguard the external environment, such as restrictions on types and quantities of waste, limit values ​​for noise, control of discharges to water, measures against aviation debris, expertise on hazardous waste, and the like.

ReMidt IKS operates a recycling station at gnr./bnr. 95/10 (on Fillan) in Hitra municipality, after permission granted on 3 February 2012. This due to new requirements and guidelines in the EU's industrial emissions directive and the waste regulations in general have ReMidt IKS applied for a new licence.

ReMidt IKS has mainly applied to continue the same conditions in the permit, and in addition to receive small leisure boats, hazardous waste and animal by-products.
