Wednesday 9 February at At 9:00, the recycling station at Kårvåg will be reopened with rope cutting, coffee and cake. The recycling station can still be found in Miljøveien 25.

A completely new area has now been opened for sorting at the recycling station. Here, new waste type signs have appeared at the containers and several information signs that will make it easier for you as a customer to sort the waste easily and correctly. There is also better lighting that makes the whole area clear in the dark. In addition, we have put in place a separate re-use shed where you can leave or take items with you.

Reuse shed - put back or bring

Here you can leave items you do not need, but which you think others can benefit from.

Rules for the reuse booth:

• All items in the reuse booth are free.
• Unfortunately, we are not able to accept items that run on electricity or battery. For example. lamps, screens, ovens and kitchen appliances.
• Textiles can unfortunately not be delivered in the reuse shop. They must be delivered in the textile boxes at the recycling station.
• Items that are damaged or have cracks must not be left behind.
• Everything that is left behind must be complete, clean and functional.

New opening hours:

In connection with the new opening, we are also extending the opening hours on 9 February. The station will now, among other things, be open every other Saturday of the month.

There is still free delivery of waste at the recycling station from households, including all cabins and leisure properties. Remember that residual waste must be delivered in transparent bags.
During the opening hours, businesses can also deliver waste to the recycling station, but then for a fee.
