Change of access to the Orkanger recycling station

Change of access to the Orkanger recycling station

In connection with planned road work on the E39 at Bårdshaug bridge in Orkanger, there will be a major rerouting of traffic in the city center area. It also involves changes for those going to the recycling station at Orkanger. When Bårdshaug bridge is completely or partially closed to traffic, traffic is instead sent to Grønør bridge, and thus past the recycling station. Double barrier lines have been established on the road over the Grønør bridge and past the entrance to the Orkanger recycling station.

What does it mean to you??

  • During the roadworks period, it will not be possible to turn into the recycling station when you come over the Grønør Bridge from the west. You must therefore drive past the recycling station and to the roundabout east of ReMidt, where you have to make a round and come towards ReMidt from the east.
  • When you leave the recycling station, you are required to drive to the right, i.e. over the Grønør bridge. If you're going left, you have to cross the bridge, and take a turn at the roundabout west of Grønørbrua.

When does this apply?
A change is planned for week 43, i.e. Monday 23 October. The change is expected to apply until 1 October 2024.
