Torbjørn is an Engineer in Technical Planning from Sør-Trøndelag University College, and has a Cand.mag degree in Geographical Information Systems from Gjøvik University College. In addition to the job in ReMidt Torbjørn has various roles and positions in affiliated companies and industries, which have provided a good professional supplement for personal development and for strategic development of ReMidt as a company. Today, Torbjørn is appointed as general manager of ReMidt.

I ReMidt we have a social mission that states that we are "Always in the forefront for people and the environment." This triggers the desire in me to constantly develop and improve the services for our residents. As an environmental company and as a team, we will develop a good and sustainable offer within waste disposal, and contribute to increased reuse and material recycling of household waste. We cannot succeed in these objectives without having satisfied employees and customers, as well as good trust from our owners.

What are the most important reasons why you want to come to work every day?

At work, I have the opportunity to work with something that feels meaningful and makes a difference in the everyday life of our customers. The experience of being able to contribute to a cleaner society that takes greater care of the resources we consume is an important driving force in everyday work.

What thoughts do you have about the industry you work in?

The industry has an important role in making arrangements for our citizens, so that everyone becomes aware of their responsibility in a simple way and contributes to us taking care of resources and reducing the negative impact on the climate and environment. In addition, the industry has an important role in collecting resources and making arrangements so that these enter circular processes and are reused in industry.
