Meet Erik

Erik er has his master's degree from NTNU, where he studied media pedagogy, media science, Nordic languages, history and cultural understanding. He has worked in the industry since September 2017.

I am the communications manager at ReMidt and works with communication. This means that I work with media inquiries, websites, social media and much of the other information that is to be sent to the customers. In addition to that, I work with attitude-creating work through the school curriculum.ReMidt-school" in collaboration with Young Entrepreneurship.

What are the most important reasons why you want to come to work every day?

Three things: It's an exciting industry, I think it's fun to communicate with colleagues and residents, and I enjoy being part of a collegial and developing work environment.

What thoughts do you have about the industry you work in?

The consumption we have in society today requires us to recycle our waste so that it becomes new resources and raw materials. It will require more of us in the future. Is this the most important industry of all in the future? Maybe... We must in any case be good at getting the people with us. This is what we work with every day both in connection with collection at people's homes, delivery to recycling stations, inquiries to the customer centre, outreach activities and all other customer meetings.
