Arne Kristian has a Bachelor in Economics and Administration from BI in Trondheim. In addition, he has filled up his competence in ICT at NTNU, and regularly updates himself through certifications at Microsoft. Often described as a hypersocial computer geek.

My working day is very varied. On paper, I work with quality and development ReMidt. This means that I work, among other things, with data capture and how to use them in a good way. In addition, I am responsible for IT operations, infrastructure and IT security throughout the group. In addition to this, there is a lot of project work through ReIT, Thamsklyngen and Avfallsforum Midt-Norge.

What are the most important reasons why you want to come to work every day?

There are several things. The experience of working in an important and exciting industry means a lot to me. Here I work for a better environment and a better world. Otherwise, I must say that everyday work is experienced as very dynamic and with new challenges that appear all the time, and that satisfies a curiosity that I must admit is a little above average. And I have to mention that I have many good colleagues who have also become among my best friends here.

What thoughts do you have about the industry you work in?

The industry is absolutely decisive for the world we hand over to future generations. Our efforts are necessary to take better care of the resources and reduce the negative impact on the climate and environment. The industry's contribution is also important to equalizing social differences in the world.
