Pursuant to section 38 of the Public Administration Act, it is hereby announced that new local regulations for household waste (the waste collection regulations) were adopted by:

Skaun municipal council: 10.12.20 in case 72/2020

NB! For the municipalities of Aure, Averøy, Kristiansund, Oppdal, Smøla, Sunndal and Tingvoll, the regulations will not enter into force before the roll-out of a new waste disposal scheme during 2021. This will be announced.
The regulations have been adopted on the basis of Act no. 13 of 1981 March 6 on protection against pollution and on waste (Pollution Act) § 30, § 33, § 34, § 37, § 79, § 80, § 83 and § 85.
The regulations provide provisions and stipulate duties and rights related to the municipal waste disposal scheme for household waste. The regulations also provide supplementary provisions on the calculation of the waste fee, and on the conditions for municipal consent to the collection of household waste.
The regulations cover all registered land properties where household waste is generated, including each sectioned part and each individual housing unit in a building, leisure properties and permanently located mobile units in the owner municipalities which are mainly used for rest and food care, and where the housing function is central.
